Lessons
Private lessons are taught by instructors Gay Anderson and son David Anderson. Riders are taught on a personal level, and both Gay and David custom-tailor their teaching approach for each student. David starts students off with lessons focusing on essential horsemanship skills, and important ground work skills such as: safety, responsibilty, care for a horse, work in hand, lunging, etc. These are important skills for beginners of any age to learn. For an in-depth look into the responsibilities of horses we encourage our students of all ages to attend a week or more of our summer camp program.
We have several school horses of our own that we use for lessons, but those wishing instruction on their own horses are welcome as well. Lesson times are currently available all 7 days of the week. Gay's lessons for advanced students are $35 per half hour; David's lessons are $30 per half hour with discounts available. Contact us for more information, and to schedule lessons.
